Anyone who has talked with us over the last few months knows that we always advise MBA applicants to use these slow summer days when deadlines are still months away to more deeply investigate their career interests and gather information about the MBA programs they are targeting.
Thoroughly researching and exploring career goals and their targeted MBA programs will give applicants a lot more ammunition to use in their essays and interviews when those career goal and "why MBA?" questions come up (and they always do!). We find that many people make the mistake of exploring these issues after they start the essay writing process or just a couple days before the interview - and at that point it is often too late to gather much useful information.
Here is one great way to gather such information without leaving your house! Register here for the Economist MBA Online Fair (which takes place Sept. 5 and 6, 2012), where you can connect with admissions committee members and alumni from many top MBA programs. If you have not begun this process yet, now is the time to start deepening your knowledge of the top MBA programs!
